Transferring assets and/or their management to communities from public bodies now has firm Government backing, following the Quirk Review. Community asset management, and particularly ownership, helps neighbourhoods become sustainable, giving communities a real stake in where they live and strengthening their role in negotiations with other stakeholders.
Our recent experience includes:
| • | community facilities audits |
| • | community centre feasibility studies and business planning |
| • | strategic option appraisals for underused community facilities |
| • | business planning the incorporation of replacement community facilities into a new private sector-led district centre/neighbourhood hub |
