Derwentside Community Appraisals

Derwentside District Council 

Two Community Appraisals in wards taking in the town centres of Stanley and Consett and commissioned under the SRB6 ‘Community Capacity and Integration' project.

What we did 

· set up local steering groups

· carried out a baseline review

· organised a widespread community consultation exercise

· organised a household survey, with direct resident involvement

· carried out a SWOT analysis

· developed an action plan
