Assistant Director at Tyne and Wear Development Corporation, responsible for devising and implementing a major social and community development programme. National reputation in the field of community development, neighbourhood management and social regeneration; spoken at many conferences and seminars. Completed two research projects for the Joseph Rowntree Foundation on community development, one in partnership with the European Institute for Urban Affairs. Specialist expertise in project managing extensive programmes of community consultation as part of large-scale regeneration strategies involving multi-disciplinary teams.
