Ethical Policy

As a company working in the areas of urban and rural regeneration and dedicated to community involvement and social improvement, SRC recognizes the vital importance of ethical responsibility as well as contributing towards sustainable development.

Although we are a private fee-earning consultancy, we are also dedicated to non-commercial and social objectives including:

 contributing to environmental sustainability
 seeking opportunities for ethical investment
 supporting local communities wherever possible
 improving staff conditions and democracy

In practical terms this will mean

implementing and regularly reviewing our separate environmental policy
providing staff with a safe, clean and healthy environment
involving staff in decision-making wherever possible
dedication to equal opportunities in its broadest context
looking to bank and invest company funds only in organizations dedicated to:
 Human Rights
 Ecological responsibility
 Supporting Social Enterprise
 Corporate Responsibility and Fair Trade
 Animal Welfare
Boycotting of the Arms Trade, Tobacco Production and sales, Nuclear Power and GM products
trying to build community support packages into community engagement programmes run as part of company business
researching opportunities for corporate support of organizations dedicated to community development, environmental protection or those helping less developed nations
sponsorship of socially and environmentally responsible enterprises
looking to develop volunteering opportunities both within the company and for staff
ensuring ethical and environmental awareness is included in staff induction programmes
