Environmental Policy
As a company working in the areas of urban and rural regeneration and dedicated to community involvement and social improvement, SRC recognises the vital importance of environmental responsibility and contributing towards sustainable development. In this respect we will do our best to reduce any negative environmental impacts and take positive steps to improve our environmental performance in our various roles of contract fulfilment, staff employment and in the day-to-day consumption of resources.
In practical terms this means:

| • | reducing waste from company practices |
| • | trying to re-use or recycle any waste that is generated |
| • | trying to reduce the need to travel and traveling in the least environmentally damaging way |
| • | reducing consumption of natural resources and purchasing less environmentally damaging products |
| • | conforming to all environmental legislation that may apply |
| • | providing staff with a safe, clean and healthy environment |
| • | researching opportunities for corporate support of organisations dedicated to environmental protection |
| • | ensuring environmental awareness is included in staff induction programmes |
