Training & Support
SRC is not a training agency, but we have developed an expertise in this area in recent years.With big changes underway to the national planning system, many local authorities are uncertain about how they should now be engaging with local communities, the techniques that work best and how to measure the outcomes. SRC has been working closely with several local authorities to provide training and support in these areas.
SRC also runs regular regional seminars on planning, housing and regeneration themes. During 2007, we have partnered with NLP Planning to run two seminars about the new planning system, for private developers and local authorities. Both events have been well attended and the feedback received has been extremely positive.
