Social Research into worklessness / North Tyneside Neighbourhood Management

Background Information

Studying long-term worklessness in an area of North Tyneside with significant numbers of long-term workless people and a cycle of worklessness in many households. The study aims to help the Council and other service providers understand the barriers that exist, identify any gaps in support, maximise the available services and find solutions to helping this group into employment.

5 months, November 2009 - March 2010.
