Big Local is an exciting opportunity for residents in 150 areas around England to use at least £1 million to make a massive and lasting positive difference to their communities.
SRC have been working with closely with residents in North Ormesby, Middlesbrough as well as residents of the CELL (Cresswell, Ellington, Linton, Lynemouth) Big local areas to make sure their views and opinions are heard, and provide the basis for how the money is spent.
SRC has been commissioned by Prudhoe Community Partnership to establish the community options for the future of the local listed walled garden. To date, we have delivered a number of community roadshow events as part of a pre-feasibility study. We have also recently been appointed to undertake a full feasibility study on the preferred scheme from November 2014.
SRC has been commissioned by the Northumberland Uplands Local Action Group (NULAG) to support the latest LEADER programme. Working with the Northumberland National Park Authority, we have been delivering the community engagement process as well as supporting its second Local Development Strategy to cover the period 2015-2020. This was submitted to DEFRA for approval in September 2014.
In February 2013, SRC was commissioned by PATH Yorkshire to carry out an extensive organisational review. PATH is a charity, providing work based training opportunities to black and minority ethnic communities in Leeds and elsewhere in Yorkshire.
This work was completed in September 2013 and we have been commissioned to do some follow up work in late 2014.
